    운동 에너지를 고려한 Flywheel Energy Storage System 설계와 진동 저감을 위한 3상 유도기의 슬롯수 산정에 관한 연구

    Flywheel Energy Storage System (FESS) is composed by flywheel generating rotating potential energy and motor/generator set charging and discharging electric potential energy. The flywheel and motor/generator is connected by rotating shaft. And torque characteristics of motor/generator part can influence charging and mechanical traits of FESS. This paper analyze about motor/generator design method of 5 [kWh] FESS and torque ripple, harmonic effects by change of slots. At First, this paper proposes a method to estimate the flywheel size and the rotor size of the motor from the the rotational kinetic energy by inertia of FESS. The number of induction motor rotor slots for torque ripple reduction in the high speed operation region is selected. This paper performs to reduce the noise and vibration of the flywheel composed of coaxial with motor/generator and flywheel and realize the high efficiency.

    다상 영구자석 동기 전동기의 자기 및 상호 인덕턴스 계산

    A multi-phase electric machine has gained distinct interest due to its high reliability compared to a three-phase structure, and in this paper, self and mutual inductances in a five-phase permanent magnet synchronous machine (PMSM) are estimated by an analytical method. Recently, most of high-performance operations are implemented by field oriented control and/or direct torque control, and inductance for those controls is one of the key parameters in the voltage equation of phase windings. Winding function theory (WFT) is employed to calculate the inductance of phase windings, and it is verified that the result of the analytical method has a deviation of approximately 3% compared to finite element analysis. Finally, in this paper, the way to obtain direct and quadrature inductance values are introduced from the analytical inductance calculated by WFT.

    6 MV 광자선의 선량 상승 영역에 대한 자기장 영향

    The purpose of this study was to present an improved method of dose modulation over the increase of build-up for existing 6MV photon beam. Two neodymium permanent magnets with a strength of 0.5 T (Tesla) were applied with a magnetic field perpendicular to the photon beam. The effects of dose on build-up region with or without the magnetic field were measured according to the magnet-to-magnet distance (MMS) and the magnet-to-surface distance (MSD). For MMS = 6 cm and MSD = 2.5 cm, D0mm, D2 mm, D5 mm, and D10 mm showed improved doses of 6.8 %, 14.6 %, 6.9 %, and 2.1 %, respectively, as compared with 6MV open beam. In this study, the device with low strength magnetic field can be applied directly to the outside of the human body when the target volume located close to the skin is delivered with radiation. It is expected that the method of build-up modulation using a low strength magnetic field will be feasible in the clinical applications.

    크기가 다른 Sr-Ferrite 입자의 자화 역전과 자기 상호작용이 보자력에 미치는 영향

    In this study, the influences of magnetization reversal and magnetic interaction on the coercivity of Sr-ferrite particles with different sizes were investigated through various magnetic measurements. The shape of the initial magnetization curve and the magnetic field dependence of the coercive force indicate that the magnetization reversal changes from domain nucleation to wall pinning as the particle size decreases. On the other hand, the Henkel plot, interaction field factor and ΔM(H) obtained from the DCD and IRM curves show that the strength of the dipolar interaction is increased with increasing the particle size. Therefore, it can be concluded that coercivity is closely related to magnetic interaction as well as magnetization reversal mechanism.

    NiFe/MnIr 박막에서 교환 바이어스의 각도 의존성 연구

    In this report, we calculated the angular dependence of exchange bias (Hex) by using single domain model in exchange coupled ferromagnetic (F)/antiferromagnetic (AF) bilayers, which results with AF thickness (tAF) were used for the analysis of measured ones in NiFe/MnIr bilayers. Angular dependence of Hex calculated at tAF > tc showed typical unidirectional behaviors, however, calculated one at 0.5tc < tAF < tc showed peculiar angular behaviors by fixed AF spins at specified angle near θH= 90°. Angular dependence of Hex measured in NiFe/MnIr (20 nm) bilayers showed typical unidirectional behaviors. However, measured one in NiFe/MnIr (4 nm) bilayers showed mixed behaviors including both of unidirectional and peculiar angular behaviors, which was explained by the grain size distribution of polycrystalline MnIr.

    자기광학현미경으로부터 관찰한 자구모양의 픽셀값 연산을 이용한 자벽선 결정방법

    Kerr microscopy was assembled to observe magnetic domain image of ultra thin 3%Si-Fe by using parts of an optical microscope. Digital images were obtained from CCD camera attached to the microscopy. A method was suggested to decide a boundary between magnetic domain regions in this study. The method was using some operations such as subtraction, integration and least mean square approximation for pixel values in the digital image. The method has a strong point that high priced image processor is not needed in the Kerr microscopy system. From the results that three different domain walls were observed and magnetic flux density of 0.085 [T], this method could be applied in the magnetic domain regions having a straight 180o domain wall.
