    강유전자성체 YMnO3의 스토너 불안정성

    The Stoner criterion is very useful to find out the magnetic structure of a ferroelectromagnetic compound YMnO3. For the non-spin polarized case, the calculations shows that the Fermi level of YMnO3 is located in the region of a large peak of the density of states, which suggests a Stoner instability of non-magnetic state. The calculated IN(EF) of YMnO3 is 1.08, which implies that YMnO3 has a Stoner instability. Therefore YMnO3 favors a magnetic state rather than non-magnetic one. The calculation of electronic structure of YMnO3 shows that the Mn 3d orbitals and O 2p orbitals are located near the Fermi level and especially Mn 3d states play more important roles for the electromagnetic properties of this compound. The magnetic moment of this compound from local density approximation (LDA) calculation is 3.3μB, which is very close with that of experimental results. In 3d transition metals the d electrons are itinerant, therefore the magnetic properties come from the 3d electron bands.

    전기도금으로 제작한 니켈 나노튜브의 강자성 공명 신호 분석

    The Ni nanotubes with 400 nm of diameter, 2.4 μm of length and 60 nm of thickness were fabricated by electrodeposition using porous polycarbonate template. The ferromagnetic resonance (FMR) signals were measured in parallel (Hz) and perpendicular (Hx) direction to length of Ni nanotubes, respectively. These two FMR siginals showed totally different behaviors. The FMR signals measured in Hz showed single resonance behavior and it was explained by bar shape. While, the FMR signals measured in Hx showed double resonance behavior, which was due to the shape anisotropy of ring type.

    Fe 계열 이종 연자성 합금 분말을 함유한 폴리머 복합시트의 전파흡수특성

    In this paper, we studied electromagnetic wave noise absorbing properties for quasi-microwave band with Fe-based magnetic composite sheet. The magnetic composite sheets were made of polymer and of soft magnetic FeSiCr flake powders and Fe80Ni flake powders with the thickness of about 0.5~1.0 μm. In the composite sheets for clarifying the mixing effect of two kind of the magnetic powders, the magnetic properties such as saturation magnetization and residual magnetization by use of VSM, and such as the complex permeability by impedance analyzer, and then the electromagnetic wave absorption properties and the shift of the matching frequency were investigated by Network Analyzer.

    SRM (Switched Reluctance Motor) has a salient pole structure for both stator and rotor to maximize reluctance torque, while segmental rotor type SRM has cylindrical rotor and shorter magnetic flux path than conventional SRM, In this paper, the magnetic flux distribution, magnetic flux density, inductance, and torque were analyzed for segmental rotor type 3-phase 6/4 SRM. The torque of segmental rotor type 3-phase 6/4 SRM has more than twice than torque of conventional 3-phase 6/4 SRM, but magnetic saturation at the alignment position of stator and rotor results in big torque ripple. The alteration of the magnetic structure with carved segmental rotor is effective in reducing the torque ripple.

    원 모양 스핀밸브 박막의 직교 4-단자법으로 측정된 자기저항 특성 연구

    A simple spin valve Ta/NiFe/Cu/NiFe/Ta magnetic thin film was patterned as a circular form with four terminals of current and voltage to investigate the magnetoresistance characteristics. The direction of the applied magnetic field was set horizontally and vertically on the thin film surface according to the rotation angle and azimuth angle. The magnetic resistance ratio and magnetic sensitivity were obtained from the measured magnetoresistance curve. The initial hall resistance measured was 1.29 Ω. The maximum magnetoresistance ratios of the horizontal and vertical hall resistances were -9.65% and -3.91%, respectively, when the rotation and azimuth angles were -45°. The magnetoresistance curve measured at the rotation angle of 90° was shown linear property within ± 2.0 Oe, and the maximum magnetic sensitivity was 10.0%/Oe. It has shown the possibility to develop a spin valve device having a high sensitivity by using a micro-pattern in a circular shape as a planner hall sensor.

    직장암의 평가를 위한 자기공명 확산강조영상에서 장내 공기에 의한 국소자화율의 차이가 현성확산계수에 미치는 영향 평가

    This study was to assess the effect of the variation in the magnetic susceptibility by intra-luminal air of rectum for quantification of ADC values. For this study, Fifty patients with before treatment rectal adenocarcinoma were selected. All patients were scanned MRI using by DWI technique before and after rectal lumen filling obtained using sonographic transmission gel. Also, DWI was imaged by applying B values of 50 and 1,000 respectively. In both DWI, two blinded observers measured ADC values on regions of interest respectively intra tumor tissue. Correlation and Intra-observer agreement verification from measured ADC value by observers were compared using Paired T-test and Intra-class correlation coefficient. As a result, Both observers measurements ADC value increased after gel injection. In the result of paired T-test, both observers showed statistically significant changes in measured ADC values before and after gel injection (p < 0.05). In addition, In the result of ICC the agreement between observers was statistically significant (p < 0.05). In conclusion, it was confirmed that the difference in magnetic susceptibility by air in the rectum may influence the quantitative evaluation of ADC value. Therefore, When evaluating the state of rectal cancer using the ADC values, it is necessary to consider the change of ADC value by magnetic susceptibility.

    경두개 자기 자극의 의료 영역별 적용

    This paper was intended to explore the characteristics and effects of repetitive transcription magnetic stimulation (rTMS) applied to neuropsychiatric, neurorehabilitation, and cognitive recovery. Although rTMS, applied in neuropsychiatry, reports various results in the type, age and degree of depression, it is not well founded, so research is needed for objective evidence in the future. In neurorehabilitation, various results of rTMS were reported depending on the individual characteristics of the patient, such as location, size, age and gender of the brain-damaged lesion. In particular, objective evidence such as the size, intensity, and frequency of magnetic stimulation is required as proposed as a treatment for the upper extremity, cognitive function, and motor function recovery of stroke patients. rTMS, which is noninvasive and safe, is determined to have a positive effect on the sensory, motor, emotional, cognitive function, and neurological reversibility of patients with brain damage through prior study and is expected to be utilized as a treatment linked to other treatments of drugs, psychotherapy and rehabilitation.
